PRESS RELEASE | European Crop Care Association (ECCA) welcomes ProAgri as its Newest Member Company

Brussels, Belgium [30 June 2025] – The European Crop Care Association (ECCA) is pleased and honoured to welcome ProAgri as its newest member company.

Headquartered in Poland, ProAgri is a plant protection products manufacturer providing farmers in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) with effective and affordable plant protection solutions for herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and growth regulators.

“The economic – and agricultural – transformation of Central and Eastern Europe has truly been remarkable. However, for this transformation to be sustainable, farmers from CEE, like elsewhere in Europe, must be supported by fair and stable access to post-patent plant protection products (PPPs),” said Mónica Teixeira, President of ECCA. “We are proud and honoured that companies from this key part of Europe continue to entrust ECCA to represent their collective interests – strengthening our ability to voice the untapped potential of the European plant protection industry.”

Founded in 1993, ECCA represents 19 companies from the European plant protection industry across Europe, which now includes 6 companies from Central and Eastern Europe.

“We are excited to join ECCA and contribute to the industry’s joint efforts to highlight the importance of post-patent PPPs for European farmers in supporting Europe’s economic competitiveness, supply chain resilience and climate change adaptation,” said Michał Mazurkiewicz, CEO of ProAgri. “From a business perspective, the Central European market is especially important for our company as we already provide our solutions to farmers in Poland, Romania and Hungary and expect to embrace new countries of the region in the future.”
